This allows airlines to offer forwarders dynamic pricing for booking their shipments. IAG Cargo, the cargo division of International Airlines Group (IAG), is the first carrier to integrate this new functionality.

The new IATA Net Rates ‘Quote and Reservation’ feature simplifies and speeds up the process of distributing and reserving fares between airlines and freight forwarders, saving valuable time by eliminating manual and labor-intensive processes. of work. The Net Rates platform can be accessed via Net Rates online or integrated with customer systems, accelerating the distribution of tariffs in the marketplace while simplifying and reducing the cost of tariff processing procedures.

The “quote and reservation” function is initially available for freight forwarders reserving IAG Cargo capacities in Canada, Ireland, Kenya, Mauritius, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, the United States and Vietnam, and will expand to other markets in the coming weeks. The solution supports bulk cargo and ULD pricing, general, express and perishable shipments, as well as bulk space allocations and agreements.
