Hanoi (VNA) – A flight of Vietnam Airlines carrying the COVID-19 vaccine Abdala from Cuba to Vietnam landed safely at Noi Bai International Airport on September 26.

With a total length of over 17,000 km and 20.5 flight hours, it is the longest flight Vietnam Airlines has so far operated to transport vaccines.

Vaccines from the flight, which used a widebody Boeing 787-9, were stored in specialized equipment and handed over to the authorized agency immediately after landing.
