Hanoi (VNA) – The United States Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has officially confirmed that Vietnam Airlines complies with all security requirements to operate scheduled direct commercial flights to the United States from Oct. 25, the national airline said on Nov. 1.

With this event, Vietnam Airlines became the first Vietnamese airline to be allowed to operate regular direct flights to the United States – the country applies the strictest rules. legal procedures and aviation security regulations around the world.

This is one of the most complex and important conditions that foreign airlines must meet in order to be authorized by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) of the United States to operate flights directly to that country.

According to Vietnam Airlines, after completing the final step of obtaining an FAA license, the airline will make its first scheduled direct commercial flight to the United States at the end of November this year.

After two decades of preparations, the national flag bearer will become Vietnam’s first airline to operate direct service to the United States. /.
