The national airline has prepared resources to serve markets, with an initial weekly frequency of around two flights on each route, according to a representative from Vietnam Airlines.

Under a plan drawn up by the Ministry of Transport, scheduled international flights to / from Vietnam will resume in two phases, with air travel with nine foreign destinations to be made available again in the first phase and fifteen in the second phase. .
Vietnam will re-establish regular international air links with Beijing / Guangxi (China), Tokyo (Japan), Seoul (Republic of Korea), Taipei (Taiwan, China), Bangkok (Thailand), Singapore, Vientiane (Laos), Phnom Penh ( Cambodia) and San Francisco / Los Angeles (United States).
During the second phase, flights will likely reconnect Vietnam with six other foreign destinations, including Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), Hong Kong (China), Paris (France), Frankfurt (Germany), Sydney (Australia) and Moscow (Russia).
Relevant authorities will assess the implementation of the plan before allowing scheduled international flights to reach pre-pandemic levels.
Fully vaccinated foreign arrivals with negative COVID-19 test results will only need to self-quarantine at home or in accommodation for three, according to a new directive issued by the Ministry of Health. days upon entering Vietnam by air.
