Vietnam Airlines suspends flights to Russia from March 25 | Travel

Hanoi (VNA) – National flag carrier Vietnam Airlines announced on March 22 that it will temporarily suspend flights to the
Hanoi-Moscow route of March 25 to review and clarify procedures, requirements and regulations relating to watercraft insurance and air operations at Russia.

A representative of the airline expressed regret over the force majeure, stressing that it will offer free refunds to passengers who purchased tickets, or change to other flights when resuming the route.

The suspension will last until further notice. The carrier recommended that passengers regularly update the information in future announcements.

Vietnamese airlines is currently the only airline operating a regular route to Russia. He said he was working hard with relevant agencies to resume operation of this route as soon as possible.
